Workshop: “Concept development and design of scientific images”

The goal of the workshop “Concept development and design of scientific images” is to get acquainted with basic design principles so that the impact and understanding of the scientific content incorporated in the image is maximized. In order to achieve this goal, this workshop will provide principles, tips and tricks on how to organize, plan and design the different elements that comprise a scientific figure or poster: drawings, schemes, graphs and text. At the end of the workshop, several examples will be analyzed to apply the frameworks previously explained. In this way, feedback points can be identified and improved using composition, color and type setting principles, among many others.

BONUS: among the attendees, four personalized feedback sessions on a scientific figure will be raffled.
